According to various lists, Utrecht, a city in The Netherlands, is the best city around the world for cycling. This is mainly due to the fact that all main infrastructure is catered towards being cycling friendly, plus a vast network of cycling-only infrastructure. German newspaper DIE ZEIT dived into the city streets and looked into the pro’s and con’s of this bike centered approach. I extensively photographed the cycling infrastucture to give the reader a sense of how all this infrastructure is embeded in the city.
